EAST LIVERPOOL — Robert A. “Bob” “Madman” Madish, 66 of East Liverpool passed at the Salem Regional Medical Center on Friday, March 31, 2017 after being diagnosed with cancer this past January.
Bob was a son of the late Robert and Mary Betty Hancock Madish and he was born in East Liverpool on Dec. 18, 1950.
For twenty years he was a beloved local representative for Schwann’s Food Brands and later enjoyed his many trips as a trusted driver for Columbiana Coach Lines. Bob was a 1969 graduate of East Liverpool High School and he was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in East Liverpool and the American Legion in Aliquippa, Pa. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy where he spent six years as an electrician aboard nuclear submarines.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Volino Madish whom he married on Sept. 27, 1980. Also left to cherish his memories are his children, Ashley Madish Peters and her wife Sara of Columbus, Ohio, and Angela Madish Moore and her husband Charles and their children, Caitlyn and Colton Moore of Chester; Bob’s siblings, David Madish of East Liverpool and Linda Johnston and her husband Richard of Wellsville; as well as many nieces and nephews.
His Pastor, Rev. Eric Edwards will celebrate his life with a private memorial service at the St. John’s Lutheran Church.
