Daniel M Beaudry

Post by Keith Holman »

The World's Best Dad, Daniel M. Beaudry, passed away peacefully at home on February 8th, 2021 hours after gleefully watching Tom Brady win his 7th Super Bowl. He was born in Glasgow Montana on August 26, 1942. He graduated from Glasgow High School with the class of 1959.

Dan enlisted in the US Navy & served 10 years during the Vietnam war. He was stationed at Pearl Harbor, served on nuclear submarines & got to travel the world. After the military, he moved to New England to start a family & career. He worked for many years at Raytheon & Wang Laboratories. He was a resident of Pelham, NH for the last 20 years.

Dan was an avid tennis player for 50 years. He would smack around opponents half his age with ease. He was a pool shark & a self-proclaimed chess master. He read 50 books per year & could answer just about every question on Jeopardy. As a strong-willed Democrat, he loved to debate about politics with anyone who would dare listen. Throughout his life, he told everyone he was 10 years younger than he actually was, and he claims everyone believed him. He didn't go anywhere without his herd of dogs in tow, they were a package deal.

Dan's highest achievement was being such a great Dad. He marched to the beat of his own drum, and could always make you laugh with his quick wit & crude humor. He was kind, caring & always rooted for the underdog. Dan will be deeply missed by his friends, dogs, family, & all who knew him.

Dan said he can now rest in eternal peace & happiness knowing that Donald Trump was not re-elected in 2020.

Private services will take place at the Gibson Cemetery in Pelham, NH at a future date.

In lieu of flowers take your Dad out to lunch if you're still lucky enough to be able to.
