Frederick Weilminster

Frederick Weilminster, 96, of Stuttgart passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, at Baptist Health-Stuttgart.

Mr. Weilminster was born Dec. 19, 1924, in Long Island, New York. He was a World War II Navy veteran retiring after 32 years of service to his country. He then worked for the State of California as an aquaduct operator. After relocating to Arkansas, he volunteered for 10 years on the USS Razorback. He was a member of US Submarine Veterans.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Corinne Weilminster.

Survivors are his son, Bruce Dart of Stuttgart and several cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Sorry to report that Fred Weilminster (WWII Sub Vet) passed on to eternal patrol on October 10.

Fred retired from the Navy after 31 years as a Master Chief.

He served in six submarines (4 diesel boats an2 nuclear boats) the las 2 being the Madison and Abraham Lincoln.

Fred made 3 war patrols on Pintado and was a shipmate of Phil Lyons.

He was widowed with 1 step son and a 1 niece. (no other family)

Fred will be cremated and his ashes will be spread in Connecticut.
