John Law was our cook on the gold crew in the early '70s. I can still hear his high pitched scratchy southern accent! My fondest memory of John was standing at the head of the chow line during our Christmas meal, carving the big prime rib and asking "rare, medium or well done?" Great cook and good shipmate. Smooth sailing, submariner!
