Military Appreciation Days (Nov 2008)

Post by Keith Holman »

The 2008 Military Appreciation Monday dinner will be held on Monday, November 17, 2008 from 5 pm to 9 pm in all Golden Corral Restaurants.

The free “thank you” dinner is available to any person who has ever served in the United States Military. If you are a veteran, retired, currently serving, in the National Guard or Reserves, you are invited to participate in Golden Corral’s Military Appreciation Monday dinner.

To date, Golden Corral restaurants have provided over 1.8 million free meals and contributed over $2.53 million to the Disabled American Veterans organization.

Edited to change title and add other Veterans Day offers.

Hi Keith, What kind of identification (if any) do you need to get this free meal? Thanks for the info.

Ron, I don't know...I even took it as a lookup and don't know the answer. The website link is http://www.goldencorral.com/military/ but it doesn't give that specific.

By the way, my employer is in the process of starting a new organization aimed at veterans, as current employees, potential employees and as an outreach support. With the start of this organization, I'm getting a lot more information about military appreciation and veteran support. This came thru that channel. I hope to be sharing a lot more usable information in the future.
